Job summary

AECOM Buildings + Place, is seeking a motivated and skilled Structural Engineering Graduate to help lead buildings projects (commercial, institutional, light industrial facilities, such as Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants and Sewage Lift Stations).

This is a new position based in our Pickering office with opportunities for hybrid work. Some travel to nearby cities may be required. The role offers growth within a global, multidisciplinary team, with a May 2027 start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with commercial and institutional buildings.
• Knowledge of 3D structural analysis and relevant codes (NBC, OBC, CSA).

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of masonry, steel, concrete, and wood structures.
• Prepare specifications and project documentation.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and clients for project execution.
• Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate conditions.
• Ensure deliverables meet deadlines and budgets.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
• Stay updated on industry codes and best practices.
