Jacobs Solutions Inc. is seeking an Intermediate Structural Designer to work with engineers, developing BIM/CAD designs and delivering drawings through preliminary design, tender, and support into construction.

You will perform back-checks, coordinate with other disciplines, and ensure quality in your drawings while applying best CAD practices. The role emphasizes independent work and collaboration in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience developing construction documents for structural buildings.
• Experience on water/wastewater facilities or municipal water infrastructure is a plus.
• Experience drawing/modeling concrete or steel structures with basic rebar detailing.
• Strong spatial awareness and 3D modeling capabilities.
• Efficient in drafting/modeling tasks.
• Excellent communicator using technical terms.
• Able to learn through instruction and self-study.

Responsabilités

• Develop designs in BIM/CAD from preliminary design through tender.
• Produce and deliver construction drawings with checks.
• Perform back-checks and quality checks for junior designers.
• Coordinate drawings and BIM with other disciplines.
• Check own work for quality and completeness.
