Job summary

CGL is seeking a Site Reliability Specialist to maintain highly reliable software systems in a hybrid environment (2 days in-office). The role supports development and operations, with opportunities to work across teams and improve service reliability. Strong beginner-to-mid level graduates are welcome to apply.

The position emphasizes monitoring, incident response, root-cause analysis, and collaboration with Policy Fulfilment and external teams. Training and development are part of the offering.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology or Computer Science with at least 3 years of experience in application support including development and operation.
• Knowledge in software engineering, with proficiency in one or more programming languages.
• Knowledge in system administration and managing production environments.
• Proficiency in using monitoring and logging tools to track system performance and discover errors.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system performance and availability, identify bottlenecks and rectify issues.
• Respond to incidents following predefined plans and procedures.
• Analyze root causes of incidents and implement fixes to prevent recurrence.
• Build effective monitors and alerts to detect errors and improve reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to optimize services.
