Job summary

WoodGreen seeks a Senior Manager, Housing Development to lead affordable and mixed-income housing initiatives from feasibility to close-out. You will manage complex financial models, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, and secure funding while ensuring alignment with community impact goals.

The role requires 5–8 years in real estate development and a post-secondary degree, with a focus on housing finance, procurement, and partnerships.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of relevant experience in real estate development, acquisitions, investment, development finance, or related field.
• A professional designation or advanced credential (P.Eng., OAA, MCIP/RPP, PMP, LEED, PQS, MRICS, AACI or equivalent) is considered an asset.
• Experience with government housing programs, CMHC financing or funding, municipal approvals, and public-sector procurement is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to build and interpret complex real estate financial models and development pro formas.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned affordable, supportive and mixed-income housing projects through feasibility, due diligence, approvals, financing, procurement, construction readiness, delivery, occupancy and close-out.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance detailed real estate development proformas and cash flows.
• Identify funding sources, grants, loans, and incentives and manage financer relationships.
• Coordinate with diverse internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment with affordability and community impact objectives.
• Prepare concise briefing notes and Board materials for senior leadership and governance bodies.
• Ensure projects comply with funding agreements, procurement requirements, and regulatory obligations.
