Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Business, Economics, or Urban Planning.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in real estate development, acquisitions, investment or affordable housing.
• Experience building and interpreting complex real estate financial models and development pro formas.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects with high-volume information and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead affordable, supportive and mixed-income housing projects through feasibility, due diligence, approvals, financing, procurement, construction readiness, delivery, occupancy and close-out.
• Lead the financial evaluation and underwriting of prospective real estate acquisitions, including land, existing buildings, development sites, and partnership opportunities.
• Coordinate and support negotiations relating to purchase price, transaction structure, conditions, deposits, closing requirements and other commercial terms.
• Monitor funding and financing conditions throughout development and construction.
• Contribute to governance, reporting and knowledge management to ensure compliance and project tracking.
