Job summary

Pomerleau is seeking a junior to mid-level scheduler to support project planning during proposal and execution phases. Under supervision, you will help develop schedules, work sequences, and CPM analyses for one or two projects at a time.

You will interact with project teams, attend weekly meetings, update visuals, monitor critical activities, and assist with data quality and compliance. A civil/construction engineering background and proficiency with Primavera P6 or MS Project are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or diploma in civil/construction engineering with internship experience.
• Internships on construction projects are an asset.
• Significant construction project management experience.
• Interest in Primavera P6, MS Project, TILOS or other planning software.
• Proficiency with Office 365; fluency in English is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop project schedules for proposal and execution phases.
• Prepare project schedule and work sequences during proposals.
• Develop CPM analyses for assigned projects.
• Draft assumption notes and progress notes.
• Monitor schedule progress and communicate with the team weekly.
• Set up and maintain visuals from schedule data; manage load curves.
• Participate in resource integration and site reviews as needed.
