Mars Canada is seeking a Retail Operations Specialist to bridge data systems and business operations. You will lead master data architecture and manage software tools used by the Retail team, ensuring data quality and accessible insights for leadership and partners.

The role requires a degree in a related field and 2–3 years in retail ops or data systems, with strong Power BI/Azure skills and SQL/Python familiarity. Mars supports growth via Mars University and a competitive compensation package.

Formación

• University degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2-3 years of business experience, preferably in retail operations or data systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Fabric, including Power BI and Azure.
• Strong understanding of database management concepts and SQL query writing; Python preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsabilidades

• Master Data Management: guide strategy, structure and quality of retail master data (banners, customers, products).
• System Ownership: oversee implementation, administration, and adoption of all retail software platforms with Retail Leadership Team.
• Analytics & Reporting: build and maintain Power BI dashboards to track retail performance metrics.
• Cross-Functional Communication: translate data strategies and system updates into clear processes for leadership and retail partners.
• Process Optimization: identify and implement technology-driven solutions to automate workflows and drive continuous improvement.
