Canadian Tire Corporation seeks a Senior BI Analyst to transform data into actionable insights across marketing, loyalty, merchandising and promotions. You will own end-to-end analytics, build scalable data pipelines, and deliver robust Power BI reporting to leadership.

Applicants should have a degree in a quantitative field, 3+ years in analytics, strong SQL, and hands-on Power BI and Databricks on cloud platforms such as Azure Synapse or Microsoft Fabric.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field.
• 3+ years of experience in analytics, BI, marketing analytics or related field.
• Strong SQL skills for querying, transforming, and validating large datasets.
• Hands-on experience building Power BI solutions including data modeling, DAX, and dashboard design.
• Solid understanding of dimensional modeling, star schema, and semantic modeling for Power BI.
• Experience developing automated data pipelines using Python, PySpark, SQL or similar.
• Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms; Databricks and Azure Synapse are assets.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate business questions into scalable data and visualization solutions.
• Source and integrate data from multiple enterprise systems to support BI initiatives.
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and curated datasets using SQL, Python/PySpark, and cloud platforms.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, scorecards, and visualization solutions for leadership and business users.
• Develop advanced DAX calculations, KPIs, and interactive reporting features.
• Conduct analyses of campaigns, loyalty, sales and promotions to highlight trends and drivers.
• Ensure data accuracy and quality through governance and validation processes.
