Job summary

Haldimand County is seeking a Research and Marketing Technician to support the Economic Development and Tourism Division. The role involves coordinating business services, operations and marketing initiatives to promote growth and investment in Cayuga, ON.

The incumbent will assist in program promotion, stakeholder engagement and data-driven reporting while working in a hybrid environment with a focus on community development and economic impact.

Qualifications

• University undergraduate level – four years or equivalent (relative to area of responsibility – planning, economic development, marketing or business)
• Minimum 3 years, up to 4 years current related experience (work/co-op/volunteer)
• Experience with customer relationship management, marketing, business, sales and/or related employment is preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating business services, functions and operations for Economic Development and Tourism
• Provide marketing support for programs, projects and initiatives
• Produce reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and Council
• Manage content on Tourism Haldimand.ca and BusinessHaldimand.ca
• Demonstrate commitment to equitable workplace practices
