Job summary

The University of British Columbia is seeking a part-time Research Administrator to support the Administration Support | HELP. The role coordinates research projects, manages ethics submissions, and oversees data collection and analysis within the community systems program.

Reporting to Principal Investigators, you will assist with budgets, timelines, and knowledge transfer, while mentoring staff and students. This role requires flexibility, with some evenings and occasional travel in Canada.

Qualifications

• Experience in university research environments preferred.
• Familiarity with grant funding processes and grant development.
• Ability to prepare clear, concise research reports and proposals.

Responsibilities

• Manages multiple research projects, timelines and budgets with PI input.
• Develops data collection instruments and tracks data for reporting.
• Coordinates ethics submissions and approvals for internal/external reviews.
• Oversees knowledge transfer outputs, reports and publications as needed.
• Trains and mentors research assistants and students; supports team development.
