Suger, Inc. is seeking a QA-focused professional to join our SaaS team in a hybrid role based in Vancouver, Canada. You will own the QA strategy, hands-on testing, and the design of scalable automation frameworks for APIs, microservices, and end-to-end workflows.

You’ll embed QA into development cycles, write clear test cases, and help drive release readiness in a fast-moving startup. Compensation includes healthcare benefits and equity, with a 4-day office requirement.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of QA experience in SaaS, API-driven or integration-heavy products.
• Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern engineering workflows.
• Experience testing APIs, microservices, data flows, and end-to-end use cases.
• Ability to write clear test cases and document defects.
• Practical judgment - balancing speed with quality in a startup environment.
• Experience setting up or maturing QA processes is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Own the QA strategy across manual, automated, regression, and integration testing.
• Contribute to hands-on testing and the design, development, and maintenance of test automation frameworks, infrastructure, and tools.
• Develop and execute test plans for new features, APIs, and end-to-end workflows.
• Embed QA into development cycles, ensuring clear requirements, acceptance criteria, and release readiness.
• Build and maintain test frameworks that scale with our product and engineering growth.
• Triage and validate issues in collaboration with Engineering and Support.
• Monitor quality metrics and drive continuous improvement in test coverage, defect trends, and release stability.
