Job summary

Computershare Canada is seeking a QA Analyst in Vancouver to test systems, manage defects, and ensure quality across multiple projects. The role combines hands-on testing with collaboration across business and technology teams in a hybrid work setup.

You will design and execute system, integration, regression, and UAT tests, review requirements for testability, and contribute to test automation as needed. A strong attention to detail and the ability to handle priorities is essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Software Testing, QA, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of test case design, testing methodologies, and QA best practices.
• Experience creating and executing system, integration, regression, and user acceptance tests.
• Ability to interpret business and functional requirements and identify testing scenarios, risks, and gaps.
• Experience with defect management, test documentation, evidence capture, and regression testing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative, results-oriented, and adaptable, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute System Test Strategies, Plans, Test Scenarios, and Test Cases to validate requirements.
• Review business and functional requirements, solution designs, and acceptance criteria to assess testability and risks.
• Prepare test data and execute system, integration, regression, and user acceptance tests.
• Maintain understanding of internal applications, data interfaces, billing processes, and supporting platforms for testing activities.
• Provide testing effort estimates and contribute to project planning and scheduling.
• Identify, document, track, and support resolution of defects and system issues; verify fixes.
