Job Description

This role involves QA activities with a focus on automation for our enterprise products. Responsibilities include maintaining a test automation framework, creating and executing test plans, and coordinating testing efforts with QA and development teams. Candidates should possess strong computer science skills, a customer satisfaction mindset, and a proven ability to leverage technology to ensure product quality.

Responsibilities

To succeed, you should be proactive, independent, and able to work well in a small team environment. Your tasks will include:

  1. Evaluating and implementing QA best practices, including integration, manual, and automated testing.
  2. Designing and developing test strategies and plans based on product requirements.
  3. Testing releases and maintaining automated tests aligned with new features.
  4. Supporting QA infrastructure within a CI/CD environment.
  5. Contributing to automated testing libraries (Python API, Selenium) and developing tools to meet quality goals.
  6. Coordinating and executing QA activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
  7. Reviewing feature requirements and technical design documents.

Skills and Qualifications

Candidates must have strong computer science skills, a passion for quality, and experience leveraging technology to build reliable products. Requirements include:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in automating web UI and server APIs using frameworks.
  • Experience with software development and quality assurance processes.
  • Proficiency in technical documentation, defect reporting, and issue tracking.
  • Knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Docker and Pycharm IDE is a plus.
  • Ability to work proactively and independently, as well as collaboratively.
