Davies Group in Markham, ON is seeking an Intermediate Property Adjuster to join our hybrid team supporting GTA East claims. You will handle property claims with guidance from senior adjusters and contribute to timely settlements.

The role requires 3 to 5 years of property claims experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office. We offer hybrid work, competitive compensation, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school education; university degree related to insurance preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, OneDrive).
• 3 to 5 years' experience handling property claims.
• Adjuster license or CIP designation in progress; Ontario licensing preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Prompt contact and follow up with policy holders and claimants.
• Investigate causes and report to clients with recommendations.
• Scope and establish quantum of damages using tools like Docusketch.
• Identify exposures, set reserves, and negotiate settlements.
• Provide high level customer service throughout the claims process.
• Support after-hours service when required.
• Adhere to work standards, policies, and procedures.
