Job summary

WSP in Canada is seeking a senior Project Engineering Manager based in Toronto or Montréal within the ERI sector to lead multidisciplinary engineering execution for large mining projects across EPC/EPCM lifecycle. You’ll connect technical depth with disciplined delivery, guiding field teams and building strong client relationships to ensure safe, coordinated, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and P.Eng. registration in a Canadian province or territory.
• Extensive leadership and supervisory experience in the mining sector with field exposure.
• Experience delivering multidisciplinary engineering work across EPC/EPCM lifecycles.
• Ability to develop execution plans, schedules, staffing, and budgets.
• Strong problem-solving with risk, client priorities, and technical input.
• Proven track record of improving quality systems and processes.
• History of implementing innovative approaches to improve outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation, review, and coordination of technical documentation for complex mining projects.
• Define deliverables, schedules, resource forecasts, and staffing aligned to milestones.
• Manage budgets, productivity, progress, and performance with corrective actions.
• Improve work processes, introduce innovative approaches, and capture continuous-improvement ideas.
• Collaborate with Client Engineering Manager and discipline leads for timely decisions.
• Champion WSP's quality, health, safety, and environment requirements.
