Job summary

WSP is seeking a Project Engineering Manager in its Resources mining team to lead multidisciplinary engineering execution across the full EPC and EPCM lifecycle for concentrators, mills and related infrastructure. You will guide complex technical decisions and ensure quality, safety and engineering controls.

The role calls for extensive leadership, staff planning, strong client relationships and a track record of delivering large-scale, cross-disciplinary projects in the Canadian mining sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• P.Eng. status in a Canadian province.
• 15+ years of relevant engineering experience with leadership.
• Experience delivering projects with concentrators and mills.
• Multidisciplinary engineering across EPC/EPCM lifecycle.
• Field engineering leadership and capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering execution for complex mining projects, ensuring quality, coordination and alignment with project objectives.
• Guide technical decision‑making, resolve complex engineering issues and maintain strong engineering controls across the project lifecycle.
• Plan, staff and monitor engineering work to support schedules, budgets, productivity and milestone delivery.
• Build strong client relationships and coordinate with discipline leads, project management, controls and construction teams.
• Promote quality, HSE and project procedures while fostering innovation and technical excellence.
