Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Canada is seeking a hands-on Project Controls Specialist to support active project delivery with focus on cost and schedule management. You will maintain data, perform variance analysis, and help the team make timely decisions.

You will use Primavera P6 and EcoSys daily, coordinate with project managers, cost analysts, schedulers, and finance, and build dashboards and reports to track performance and earned value.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project controls, cost control, scheduling, or reporting.
• Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 and EcoSys.
• Experience supporting active projects in a cross-functional environment.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and earned value understanding.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day cost and schedule control activities, including budgets and forecasts.
• Maintain project data in EcoSys and Primavera P6, aligning cost and schedule.
• Monitor performance, identify deviations, and support corrective actions.
• Assist change management by assessing impacts and updating forecasts.
• Prepare cost and schedule reports, dashboards, and summaries.
• Analyze data for earned value reporting and forecast accuracy.
• Compare data from multiple sources to validate information.
• Maintain reporting trackers, action registers, and logs.
• Collaborate with project managers, cost analysts, schedulers, engineering, procurement, and finance.
