Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Law, Privacy, Information Management, Records and Information Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in Privacy or Information Management.
• Certifications such as CIPM, CIPP, CIPT, AAPP, CAPP, MAPP, CRM, or IGP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and oversee the organization’s Access and Privacy Management program.
• Ensure compliance with FOI/Privacy Act and related regulations.
• Lead privacy governance across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Educate the agency on legislative and regulatory requirements to improve compliance.
• Define goals for enterprise Information Governance and oversee cost centers.
• Coach and mentor staff to drive high performance.
• Review and update policies to ensure proper governance and risk management.
