Job summary

David Aplin Recruiting is seeking an experienced Personal Lines Broker or Account Manager to join a well-established independent insurance brokerage in Ontario. You will manage an existing Personal Lines book, service Home and Auto policies, and deliver full-service insurance support to clients.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in Personal Lines, a valid RIBO licence, and a proven ability to grow the book through new business and referrals while working in a supportive, collaborative team in a

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Personal Lines brokerage experience.
• Active RIBO licence in good standing.
• Experience managing and servicing a Personal Lines book.
• Strong knowledge of Personal Lines products and markets.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a close-knit team.
• Applied Epic experience is an asset, but training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Manage and service an established Personal Lines book of business.
• Handle Home, Auto and other Personal Lines products.
• Manage new business, renewals, endorsements, and policy changes.
• Provide ongoing support and advice to clients.
• Work with insurance markets and underwriters to place and service risks.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to grow the book through new business and referrals.
• Collaborate with colleagues to provide a high level of client service.
