Job summary

Cowan Insurance Group is seeking an Account Manager Specialist to join its Personal Insurance Concierge team, reporting to the Director, Personal Insurance, to guide clients with complex needs and deliver exceptional service.

You will manage a portfolio of Personal lines, provide expert advice, build relationships with clients and carriers, prepare submissions, and identify opportunities to expand coverage while mitigating risk. Hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in Personal Insurance.
• RIBO licensed, or ability to obtain.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office; EPIC experience is a plus.
• Pursuing CAIB/CIP/CRM designations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a dedicated portfolio of Personal lines clients.
• Provide insurance advice to clients and identify needs, work with markets and Concierge team.
• Direct interaction with clients to foster and build relationships.
• Drive multi-line approach to expand product offers to existing clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers and clients.
• Prepare insurance submissions, proposals and summaries of insurance.
• Conduct portfolio reviews to mitigate risk and make recommendations.
