Job summary

Ledcor Group is seeking a Payroll Administrator to deliver accurate, timely payroll across multiple divisions, handling union and non-union payrolls and complex adjustments. The role reports to Team Lead, Payroll and requires strong knowledge of full-cycle processing, reconciliation, and compliance with Canadian legislation and collective agreements.

You will respond to employee inquiries, support process improvements, and collaborate with HR, Operations, and Labour Relations to ensure accurate

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience processing high-volume payroll, including unionized environments.
  • Knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation, tax remittances, and year-end processes.

Responsibilities

  • Process full-cycle payroll for salary, hourly, union, and non-union employees across multiple divisions.
  • Validate time and attendance data, earnings, deductions, and retroactive adjustments.
  • Process manual payments, off-cycle runs, adjustments, reversals, and retros.
  • Calculate vacation pay, holiday pay, and final pay for departing employees.
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve issues.
  • Process off-cycle payments including severance, bonuses, commissions, and other payments.
  • Perform reconciliations and prepare remittances.
  • Identify and contribute to payroll process improvements.
