Job summary

Corus Entertainment Inc. is seeking a highly organized Multi-platform Content Scheduler in Toronto. You will support scheduling across on-demand and FAST channels, aligning rights windows with programming priorities and overseeing content updates and metadata accuracy.

You will coordinate with internal teams and external partners, maintain weekly schedules, and ensure timely releases while monitoring quality control across platforms. Hybrid work arrangement in Toronto is offered.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience in television, digital media, scheduling, or content management.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Experience working with large datasets and scheduling systems.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Knowledge of content rights and windowing.
• Experience with FAST channels, streaming platforms, or broadcast scheduling.
• Passion for television and digital content.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain weekly VOD schedules across streaming platforms.
• Coordinate content availability with linear schedules and rights windows.
• Issue metadata updates, program adjustments, and takedown notices as required.
• Coordinate content updates with internal stakeholders and distribution partners.
• Monitor scheduled content and resolve scheduling discrepancies.
• Build and maintain weekly FAST channel schedules and manage channel lineups.
• Support long-range planning of channel schedules and content inventories.
• Monitor channel presentation and ensure schedules are executed accurately.
• Conduct routine QC checks across VOD and FAST platforms.
• Verify metadata accuracy, episode sequencing, rights availability, and platform presentation.
• Track availability of newly delivered content and schedule timely releases.
• Troubleshoot scheduling issues and escalate when needed.
