Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Civil Technologist to join our Water Delivery team in Canada. You will expand design expertise across private and public water projects, using Civil 3D, ACC, and other CAD/BIM tools.

You will lead 3D modeling, develop engineering deliverables, and coordinate with project managers while mentoring junior staff. A strong background in municipal infrastructure and standards is required.

Qualifications

• Certified Engineering Technologist or equivalent with design experience.
• 15+ years of relevant municipal/utility infrastructure experience.
• Proven capability with Civil 3D and CAD/BIM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D models and drawings for complex water projects.
• Coordinate QAQC and document control for deliverables.
• Mentor junior staff and supervise CAD/BIM tasks.
• Coordinate drawings with project managers using ACC/ProjectWise.
• Design site plans, grading, and sewer/water networks per standards.
• Prepare as-built drawings and ensure timely project delivery.
