Job summary

MIABC in Vancouver, BC, is seeking an organized Information Technology Support & Projects Coordinator to join our Digital Strategy team. You will be the first point of contact for staff IT needs and help implement AI projects across the organization.

You will configure devices, manage access, support core apps (Microsoft 365, HubSpot, Zoom, OneShield) and mentor staff in responsible AI use while aligning with MIABC policies and risk management processes.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in information technology or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years IT support or service desk experience.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity.
• Familiarity with AI tools like Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude.
• Strong customer-service orientation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide first point of contact for staff IT requests and resolve issues.
• Configure and maintain user devices and AV tech in meeting rooms.
• Manage staff access to office systems and software licensing.
• Support core business apps: Microsoft 365, HubSpot, Zoom, OneShield.
• Coordinate with IT providers and monitor network performance.
• Deliver staff training and create guides and FAQs.
• Assist with system transition projects and AI tool testing.
• Identify AI use cases to improve efficiency and service quality.
• Promote responsible-use practices for AI adoption.
• Mentor staff on effective use of AI tools.
• Ensure compliance with MIABC policies; participate in ERM.
• Collaborate with colleagues and represent MIABC professionally.
