Job summary

EPCOR Utilities Inc. is seeking a Manager, GIS & ADMS in Edmonton, AB. This role leads the GIS and ADMS portfolio within Application Services, ensuring reliability of CAD/GIS and ADMS suites and driving operational excellence for EPCOR's critical assets.

You will oversee teams, collaborate with business users, and guide project delivery while maintaining a focus on service quality, performance metrics, and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in CS/Engineering or a relevant diploma/MIS.
• 3+ years of supervisory or team-lead experience.
• 8+ years of IT experience with enterprise applications.
• Experience with large, complex database-driven applications.
• Ability to troubleshoot critical application availability issues.
• Knowledge of GIS, Power or Water utility concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure delivery of optimal results against performance metrics.
• Provide input to management plans for applications support.
• Build and maintain relationships with business users to ensure delivery of results.
• Ensure scheduling and delivery is specific and measurable across the team.
• Develop, build and lead a high-performing team of system analysts.
• Respond to system availability issues with urgency and drive root-cause analysis.
• Foster a high-performance, accountable, and customer-focused work environment.
• Ensure application services policies and processes are followed.
