Job summary

Sport Nova Scotia is seeking a Fund Development & Event Coordinator to drive revenue through fundraising programs and oversee event planning, sponsorship servicing, and merchandise orders. The role emphasizes collaboration, inventory management, and strong client relationships.

You will coordinate registrations, manage on-site logistics for multiple events, and work with the Director of Marketing and Events to meet revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree or Diploma in Sport Marketing, Sport Administration, or equivalent.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Suite (Teams, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Exemplary skills in event management, project management, and database management.
• Proven ability to collaborate and support the development of new initiatives.
• Proven ability to create and maintain relationships with sponsors and community partners.
• Proven experience working with sales or revenue targets.

Responsibilities

• Revenue Generation Programs: set revenue targets for fundraising programs and grow engagement.
• Revenue Program Administration: manage registrations, raffle draws, ticket distribution, and reports.
• Event Coordination: assist with on-site logistics and participant communications for Sport NS events.
• Sponsor Service: produce sponsor reports and assist with servicing and recruitment.
• Merchandise and Promotional Products: research and manage apparel, merchandise orders, inventory and supplier relations.
• Team Participation: build networks and participate in meetings and staff training.
