Job summary

The BC Public Service Careers in Mackenzie is seeking an Engineering Program Specialist to maintain Forest Service Roads across one of BC’s largest Timber Supply Areas, serving four remote communities. The role involves collaboration with First Nations, licensees and industry partners, based in Mackenzie with a flexible hybrid work option.

Applicants must meet education/experience qualifications, be eligible for FPBC registration, and may receive a bi-weekly isolation allowance.

Qualifications

• Education and experience requirements as listed in the posting.
• Experience in contract and/or project supervision is preferred.
• Registered, or immediately eligible for registration (within six months) with FPBC as an RFT.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe, reliable Forest Service Roads and infrastructure across a large Timber Supply Area.
• Collaborate with First Nations, forest licensees, and industry partners to deliver practical solutions within budget.
