Job summary

Tim's Financial is seeking a Manager of Financial Reporting in a hybrid Ontario, Canada role. You will prepare board and audit committee materials, oversee quarterly closes, and ensure IFRS compliance while coordinating with external auditors.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years post-qualification experience, a university degree in accounting/finance, and strong leadership and analytical skills to communicate results to senior executives.

Qualifications

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business related discipline.
• Significant experience with external reporting, including the preparation of financial statements, notes, and consolidations.
• Extensive knowledge of IFRS and reporting standards.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to present to senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Prepare board and Audit Committee presentations.
• Maintain knowledge of IFRS and Realpac developments.
• Oversee quarterly close, internal controls and system enhancements.
• Maintain internal control framework including control environment and monitoring activities.
• Ensure compliance with tax authorities (HST, PST, etc.).
• Coordinate year-end audit and quarterly functions with external auditors.
