Job summary

The Royal Conservatory in Toronto is seeking a Manager, Events and Corporate Partnerships to translate our fundraising strategy into revenue through flagship events and institution-wide partnerships. Reporting to the Managing Director, Development, you will lead event revenue planning, secure sponsorships, manage donor prospects, and coordinate with volunteer committees and internal teams.

This role requires five to seven years in fundraising or related fields, a track record of meeting revenue

Qualifications

• Minimum five to seven years of relevant fundraising, corporate partnerships, sponsorship, business development or event-revenue experience.
• Proven ability to manage a complex portfolio, build productive relationships and meet ambitious revenue targets.
• Experience developing and managing fundraising event revenue strategies, including sponsor pipelines, volunteer fundraising plans, ticket or table sales and donor cultivation.
• Exceptional written and verbal communications, including proposals, sponsorship packages and donor correspondence.
• CFRE designation is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement flagship fundraising event revenue and corporate-partnership plans aligned with institutional priorities and revenue goals.
• Lead event revenue strategy and execution including corporate sponsorship, individual donors, tables and ticket sales.
• Carry a portfolio of donors and prospects, cultivating, soliciting, renewing and stewarding support.
• Coordinate with committees, senior volunteers, external agencies and internal teams to deliver fundraising events and fulfil partner commitments.
• Identify and coordinate strategies for principal or transformational support and report on forecasts and risks.
