Job summary

The Royal Conservatory is seeking a Director, Annual Giving to lead and advance the organization’s annual giving program from Toronto. Reporting to the Managing Director, Development, you will translate strategy into actionable plans, align donor activity with institutional priorities, and manage a high-performing team.

You will oversee acquisition, retention, upgrading, and donor engagements across channels, ensuring data-informed decisions, strong donor experiences, and measurable revenue

Qualifications

• Seven years of progressively responsible fundraising experience.
• Ability to develop integrated annual giving strategies.
• Experience coaching staff and managing budgets.
• Strong donor data, segmentation and multi-channel campaigns.
• Excellent writing and communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the annual giving strategy and operating plan.
• Lead the annual giving team and manage donor participation and retention.
• Oversee donor acquisition, retention and upgrades up to $25,000.
• Collaborate with Marketing & Communications on campaigns and donor communications.
• Monitor revenue, participation, and ROI; forecast and report outcomes.
