Job summary

Toronto Hydro is seeking a Customer Energy Management & Partnerships Analyst in Toronto, ON to analyze customer behavior, evaluate processes, and support climate action programs. The role includes developing information, tools and templates, and collaborating with teams to align objectives.

The incumbent will manage databases, generate reports, and perform data gathering and trend analysis while engaging with multiple stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• University degree in science, engineering, environmental studies, data science, data analytics or a related technical field.
• 18-24 months of admin/support/co-op experience related to climate action, energy conservation programs or electrical industry would be an asset
• Master’s degree in related technical field an asset
• Experience with SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, MS Project, CRM databases, Energy Star Portfolio Manager and Save On Energy applications preferred
• Solid understanding of climate action and electrification, while excelling at data analytics, basic research and effective communication of results
• Advanced computer skills and MS-office applications especially leveraging Microsoft Copilot automation and agent development
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment with shifting responsibilities while retaining the ability to execute on task.
• Understands technological trends and their effect on business or strategic work plans
• Technical understanding of electrical power distribution concerns and issues beneficial
• Account management, strategic sales and relationship management skills
• Ability to operate within a context of sales targets and customer service KPIs

Responsibilities

• Assists in leading departmental activities to draw insights from data sets and prepare reports with recommendations
• Undertakes data analysis to support departmental objectives including climate action, rate/cost calculations, energy and carbon measures
• Collaborates with internal/external partners to segment customer goals and evaluate climate action technologies
• Conducts in-depth research on climate action, technology, programs, and policy options with recommendations
• Monitors progress of climate and energy efficiency projects; suggests adjustments to achieve outcomes
• Manages planning and reporting data for management systems; improves processes for efficiency
• Acts as departmental technical matter support for initiatives
