Job summary

Bell is seeking a Senior Manager, Real Estate Operations to lead the day‑to‑day operations of a mission‑critical Data Centre in a 24/7, high‑availability environment. The role partners across Facilities, Network, Security and vendors to ensure safety, reliability and compliance while meeting SLAs.

You will drive governance, capacity planning, incident response, and continuous improvement, while guiding staff and coordinating customer deployments and change activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, facilities or related field.
• 5–10 years in data centre or mission‑critical facilities operations.
• Experience leading 24x7 operational teams with on‑call coverage.
• Strong understanding of data centre infra: electrical, cooling, security.
• Experience with MOP/SOP/EOP, change control, risk assessment and incident response.
• Capacity management across power, cooling and space; coordinate moves.
• Familiar with Uptime Institute Tier concepts, ASHRAE guidelines and DCIM.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage 24x7 Data Centre operations team, staffing and performance.
• Partner with Facilities to meet availability, reliability and safety targets.
• Lead incident response, recovery, and post‑incident reviews as escalation point.
• Approve MOP/SOP/EOP activities through change control processes.
• Monitor capacity; plan expansions; coordinate customer moves and loads.
• Drive safety, energy efficiency and KPI improvements using DCIM data.
• Support customer onboarding with design coordination and scope alignment.
• Represent site in tours, readiness reviews and service improvement efforts.
• Maintain policy compliance and lead audits and business continuity planning.
• Support cost optimization and site‑level financial discipline.
