Westland Insurance Group Ltd invites you to apply for a Hybrid Commercial Marketer role in Burlington, ON. You will support our Commercial Insurance teams by marketing solutions to insurers and markets, contributing to submissions, proposals, and client-ready materials.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Commercial Insurance (sales, account management or marketing), holds a Level 2 RIBO License, and can collaborate effectively with brokers in the USA and London.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of Commercial Insurance experience (sales, account manager or marketer role).
• Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.
• Knowledge of London Markets and in-house authorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop marketing submissions, proposals, presentations, and summaries of our commercial insurance programs.
• Be an in-house expert, sharing ongoing knowledge of current market/carrier appetites and approximate rate expectations
• Continuously build strong working relationships with Carriers/Underwriters
• Attend industry events and build networking
• Cooperate with brokers in the USA and London to place international and cross-border accounts
• Inspire, coach and mentor other Commercial team members through the submission process
