Job summary

Navacord in Kelowna is seeking an Associate to support Commercial Insurance teams by processing documents, invoicing premiums, and producing certificates of insurance and schedules. The role handles issuance of certificates, pre-renewal and renewal activities, and supports new business submissions, proposals, and administrative processes.

This hybrid position is based at the Acera Kelowna-Hardy office. Candidates should be comfortable working independently or as part of a team and be proficient

Qualifications

• Experience with insurance document management software (EPIC) and PolicyWorks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Working toward BC Broker License (Level 2).

Responsibilities

• Process documents and invoice premiums.
• Prepare cover letters and issue certificates of insurance.
• Prepare schedules and certificates for clients.
• Handle pre-renewal, renewal, and new business submissions.
• Maintain activity lists (Endos, polos, account discrepancies, SOVs).
• Support commercial and administrative processes and best practices.
