Job summary

The Toronto District School Board’s System Services group seeks an Analyst I, System Management to provide primary support for core IT subsystems in a hybrid Cloud/On-prem environment. You will deploy and troubleshoot servers, Active Directory, cloud apps, and email platforms, while ensuring data protection and security across the environment.

You will coordinate with specialists, implement changes, and assist in capacity planning and tool acquisition.

Qualifications

University degree with three years progressive work experience administering enterprise Windows/M365 environments.
Completion of substantial MCSE coursework and virtualization/Azure/GSuite exposure.
Thorough understanding of enterprise-cloud stacks spanning compute, networking, storage, and apps.
Experience with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022/2025 and Microsoft product suites.
Knowledge of ITIL and ITSM frameworks and cloud technologies (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS).
Experience configuring Exchange Online/On-Prem and Gmail, and mail security.

Responsibilities

Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot core services and systems in hybrid Cloud/On-prem environments.
Provide problem resolution and root-cause analysis for assigned systems.
Support M365 and Google Workspace email platforms including mail flow and security.
Coordinate changes and enhancements with Change Management Procedures.
Assist in design and configuration of IT environment and capacity planning.
Maintain endpoint protection and security systems for servers.
Ensure data protection and backup integrity in a large production environment.
Periodically work in other IT services areas as needed.
