Job summary

UBC Vancouver campus seeks a Project Manager to lead the CIC projects, including AI and AWS-enabled initiatives. You will manage scope, schedules, and resources, coordinating developers, architects and student staff to deliver proof-of-concept solutions and practical learning opportunities.

The role requires an undergraduate degree, 5+ years of PM experience, and strong stakeholder management. Hybrid work is available with a focus on reliable delivery and student development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of related project management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage budgets.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and AI initiatives is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead concurrent cloud innovation projects from scoping to closure.
• Define requirements, success criteria, scope and deliverables with sponsors.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, resources and dependencies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and mentor staff; escalate when needed.
• Ensure architecture, security, compliance and quality objectives are met.
