You will gather requirements, design architecture, and supervise projects across data governance, warehousing, and BI reporting, partnering with stakeholders across UVic.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field plus several years of experience in development and maintenance of complex data systems.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Experience leading projects, gathering requirements, coordinating changes with clients, and documenting technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and enhancement of enterprise information systems.
• Ensure systems are reliable, secure, accessible and meet university needs.
• Provide expert consultation and training to staff.
• Support the university’s mission by enabling advanced technology solutions.
• Design interfaces, infrastructure and software to specification; delegate tasks and ensure timely delivery.
