Job summary

TEEMA is supporting BC Hydro in the search for an experienced Civil / Structural Engineer (E4) on a 12-month contract with strong extension potential. The role combines office design work with field support in a hybrid setting based in Edmonds, Burnaby, BC.

The successful candidate will deliver civil and structural engineering support across BC Hydro projects, review calculations, and resolve technical issues while ensuring safety, quality, cost and schedule targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of Civil/Structural engineering experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with EGBC, or eligible for EGBC registration.
• Experience with steel, concrete and wood design.
• Based in the Lower Mainland with ability to travel across BC.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review civil/structural designs and calculations.
• Support design for medium-complexity projects.
• Coordinate with project teams, designers, contractors and other disciplines.
• Conduct site visits across BC as required.
