Job summary

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Category Manager – Livestock and Farm Hardware on a temporary basis up to 16 months for our Consumer Products team. This hybrid role prefers candidates based in Saskatoon, SK, with options for remote work for Western Canada.

You will develop category strategies, manage assortments, lead pricing initiatives, and partner with procurement, marketing and field teams to drive growth, profitability and customer value across animal supplies, farm

Qualifications

6-9 years wholesale/retail experience.
Degree in Agriculture, Business, SCM or Marketing.
Proactive, results-driven leader with a strong sales focus.
Leadership experience in wholesale/retail is an asset.
Strong business acumen and data analytics with category mgmt.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute category strategies and marketing programs across animal supplies, livestock equipment, feed, farm hardware, engines and accessories.
Analyze CRS and industry data to evaluate pricing, products and programs for competitiveness.
Manage categories to achieve sales, margins, inventories, turns and service levels.
Negotiate and source products, optimize pricing and identify market trends.
