Job summary

Grainger Canada is hiring for a hybrid KeepStock/Branch role. You will support both branch and customer-site activities, owning the end-to-end customer experience and driving loyalty through proactive service and product knowledge.

The role requires bilingual English/French proficiency, strong communication, and ability to operate equipment. You will travel between a Grainger Canada branch and customer sites to ensure timely deliveries and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in retail/selling or customer service
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Willingness to learn and operate equipment like powered industrial equipment/forklift
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license in province of residence

Responsibilities

• Own the customer experience in branch and KeepStock service, including product selection, order entry, picking and loading
• Drive sales by focusing on opportunities and building customer loyalty to meet revenue targets
• Promote Grainger products and services and provide substitutions where required
• Maintain product knowledge and complete required certifications
• Handle customer transactions and provide updates on delivery times and quotes
• Manage and support vending machines and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI)
• Travel to customer sites as part of KeepStock/branch responsibilities
• Document standard operating procedures for continuity and identify productivity improvements
