Job summary

AECOM is seeking a BIM Specialist, Tunnel Practice to be based in Markham. You will lead BIM initiatives for complex underground infrastructure across Canada, collaborating with tunnel engineers, geotechnical, structural, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize design, construction, and handover processes.

You will champion BIM standards, 4D/5D workflows, and data management, ensuring ISO 19650 compliance and seamless data exchange across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree + 2 years BIM implementation experience on large-scale infrastructure projects.
• 5+ years of BIM experience on major infrastructure projects, prefer tunnel/transit/underground works.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks, ACC, ProjectWise, OpenBuildings and OpenTunnel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement BIM strategies for tunnelling/underground projects.
• Support BIM processes from design through construction and handover.
• Integrate BIM with AI and digital twins for analytics and planning.
