Job summary

AECOM is seeking a BIM Specialist to support our Water Business Line in Burnaby, BC. You will champion BIM standards, mentor teams, and provide technical support to design staff, producing 3D models and drawings per project standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration with capture teams, development of BIM maturity, and hands-on production across multi-disciplinary projects within BIM360 and Autodesk Construction Cloud ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of BIM Mechanical experience, or a Diploma/Certificate and 4 years BIM Mechanical experience.
• Experience with BIM in water or wastewater projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage with capture teams, providing BIM subject matter expertise.
• Assess current BIM state and maturity on projects.
• Develop and mentor teams in BIM practices.
• Provide training and technical support to design staff on BIM systems (3D models, content, standards).
• Direct project support and production using established BIM standards and content.
• Collaborate with design teams to develop BIM standards and specifications.
