Export Development Canada seeks an AI Machine Learning Engineer at Level 17 or 18 to join the AI Centre of Enablement. The role blends production ML/GenAI development with governance and reliability, using Databricks and Azure.

Hybrid work from Ottawa headquarters or hubs in Toronto or Montreal, with relocation assistance. Three days in-office per week starting September 2026. You will design reusable ML assets and deploy production AI solutions with strong ownership.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain reusable ML assets and feature pipelines.
• Collaborate with data scientists, architects, and platform teams to move models to production.
• Engineer production‑grade ML and GenAI solutions with batch and real‑time inference patterns.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and MLOps practices.
• Monitor AI system health, data drift, and cost anomalies.
