Job summary

Export Development Canada (EDC) is seeking an AI Machine Learning Engineer at Level 17 or 18 to design, build, and deploy production-grade ML solutions. You will work across Databricks and Azure, collaborating with data scientists, security, and platform teams to deliver scalable AI capabilities in a hybrid environment.

This role offers relocation support to Canada’s major hubs and a clear path from Level 17 to Level 18, with responsibilities spanning CI/CD, MLOps, and responsible AI practices,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of AI/ML engineering delivering production systems in enterprise environments.
• Experience with large-scale data platforms and Databricks/Azure cloud.
• Proficient in Python and data-centric languages (SQL, Java, Scala).
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
• Bilingual in English and French is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain reusable ML assets, feature pipelines, and deployment patterns.
• Collaborate with data scientists, architects, platform, and security teams to productionize AI models.
• For Level 17: contribute to GenAI solutions and MLOps enhancements; for Level 18: own end-to-end AI lifecycle, governance, and scale.
