Job summary

Aversan Inc. in Montreal, QC, is seeking a Buyer / Expeditor to manage purchase orders, supplier follow-ups, expediting, and ERP data accuracy to ensure material availability.

You will support RFQ activities, resolve order discrepancies, and work closely with internal teams to maintain uninterrupted operations. Hybrid work arrangement with 0–2 years in purchasing and bilingual requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; related 2+ year qualifications preferred.
• Experience in purchasing, logistics or supply chain is valued.
• It is essential to be bilingual (English/French) for internal and supplier communications.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, especially Oracle, is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple orders and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create and release purchase orders with accurate data.
• Follow up with suppliers on delivery commitments and expediting needs.
• Monitor orders and update ERP with delivery dates and quantities.
• Resolve receiving and invoice discrepancies and flag shortages.
• Support RFQ activities and supplier negotiations.
• Ensure supplier contracts and pricing compliance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain material availability.
