Job summary

Aversan Inc. is seeking a qualified Buyer / Expeditor to manage purchase order execution, supplier follow-ups, expediting activities, and ERP data maintenance to ensure timely material availability.

The role also supports RFQ activities, resolves order discrepancies, and escalates supplier or material shortages as required. Location: Montreal, QC (ST-LAURENT). Hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and French required.
• 0–2 years in purchasing, logistics, or supply chain.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with ERP data management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and release purchase orders with accurate order execution.
• Obtain supplier acknowledgements and update expediting data.
• Follow up on late deliveries and past-due orders to ensure material availability.
• Update ERP data: delivery dates, quantities, pricing, and supplier commitments.
• Resolve receiving and invoice discrepancies and escalate shortages as needed.
• Support RFQ activities and sourcing requests.
• Maintain compliance with approved suppliers, contracts, and pricing requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to support uninterrupted operations.
