Job summary

Grainger Canada is seeking an Account Manager to drive positive sales growth across a defined geography. You will manage ~40-45 current accounts and leverage Grainger's CRM (Salesforce) to execute daily activities and reporting.

You will report to the District Sales Manager and travel to client sites monthly. The role requires 2+ years of outside sales experience, a High School Diploma, and a preference for a Bachelor’s degree. This is a hybrid position with substantial customer engagement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years direct outside sales experience or equivalent outside/inside sales experience.
• Sales forecasting, opportunity management and customer planning.
• Travel to each customer within aligned market at least once per month.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer goals and respond to changing needs.
• Demonstrate market data knowledge and access to resources.
• Oversee managed inventory tasks to increase sales.
• Understand Grainger's Value Proposition and provide solutions.
• Develop account penetration strategies with regular business reviews.
