Job summary

Equinox Gold Corp. seeks an experienced HVAC Technician to join our Geraldton operations. Reporting to the Mill Mechanical Supervisor, you will perform repairs, overhauls and new installations on mining-related HVAC equipment, and participate in preventive maintenance programs.

The role requires at least 5 years of relevant experience; dual trade designation is an asset. You will balance airflows, work with BAS controllers, install piping, and maintain safe, efficient systems in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Dual trade designation/certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative/predictive maintenance related to HVAC services.
• Repair, service, and rebuild equipment as directed.
• Install, maintain, modify, and repair HVAC piping and related equipment on site.
• Balance airflow on the air handler and maintain proper air circulation.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform mechanical, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
• Operate site equipment and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Document and communicate actions and ongoing maintenance needs.
