Job Title: HVAC Service Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician responsible for reading, interpreting, and executing drawings, schematics, and blueprints. The role involves installation, repair, overhaul, and maintenance of refrigeration and air conditioning systems and their component parts.

Responsibilities

• Review blueprints, building codes, and specifications to determine work details and procedures.

• Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning systems and components.

• Assist with the design of multi-head VRF systems.

• Create detailed material lists from drawings and site layouts.

• Start and commission systems, test lines to detect leaks, and record readings.

• Direct apprentices on the installation of piping systems.

• Keep records of assignments and produce detailed work reports.

• Diagnose and fix malfunctions by replacing or repairing controls, electric wiring, or other parts.

• Comply with industry standards, safety manual, and adhere to safety rules.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of HVAC service experience within commercial, institutional, or high-rise settings.

• Journeyperson Red Seal Ticket.

• Experience in service HVAC.

• Ability to get to the site and provide a clean driving record.

• Good communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Gasfitter B ticket.

Work Environment
