Our Field Service Technicians deliver “the Deka difference” through customized service programs and solutions. Equipped with fully stocked service vehicles, our technicians are trained in all aspects of lift truck battery and charger service, from routine maintenance to troubleshooting and repairs on all makes and models.

What you’ll be doing…

You will provide high-quality service directly to our customers, applying your technical skills to assess, diagnose, and repair batteries and chargers. Tasks may include installing communication modules, performing cell teardowns, or repairing watering systems.

You will build trust with customers by advising them on battery and charger options and may have opportunities to upsell parts, accessories, and service agreements.

What you bring…

While full training will be provided, success is supported by:

• Mechanical/electrical aptitude, preferably with electrical/electronic technical education
• 3+ years in a technical service role
• Strong communication skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to identify upselling opportunities

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean record
• Ability to lift/move batteries up to 100 lbs.
• Background checks will be conducted

Salary Range: $26 - $27.50/hr CDN plus commission and a company vehicle. Salary depends on education, experience, and skills.
